I am a Bay Area based UX designer with a background in product management at Lockheed Martin and client-focused financial planning at Goldman Sachs- Ayco. I share people's stories through design by empathizing with people and by applying analytics, research and strategy.

People have always relied on me as a confidant to listen to their stories. I am able to empathize with people by immersing myself into the situation and asking clarifying questions to help uncover underlying issues and motivations. I am passionate about uncovering how people think and how I could solve their problems. I did not realize I could apply this passion to a career until I started working with clients. At Goldman Sachs - Ayco, I had the opportunity of working with over 70 C-Level executives from various Fortune 500 companies. 

When I decided to pursue UX, I developed design thinking by completing the Immersive Program at General Assembly. Being able to assess the human-focused aspect is an essential component of design but this approach needs to be grounded by research and strategy. As a former analyst, I have extensive experience with applying research and analytics to strategically provide actionable solutions.

When I am not solving problems, I am expanding my knowledge through exploration and traveling. I believe that understanding the world is integral to effective problem solving. For the past 6 years, I have made it a goal to travel to a new place at least annually - traveling to Peru, Japan, Turkey, Greece and more. I am curious about the world and I believe that the best way to grow is to leave your comfort zone and explore the unknown.
